Creative Writing Workshop for Teens

This 1.5 hour workshop for young writers (aged 13 - 19) teaches the basics of storytelling. Using examples from flash fiction, we will discuss a variety of literary devices, such as the use of the second person point-of-view, list stories, and reverse chronology. There will be a free-writing component in this workshop but there is no pressure to share your work with the group.

This in-person workshop will be held at The AC Hunter Public Library, 125 Allandale Road, St. John’s, NL.

This event is free and open to teens aged 13 - 19. Space is limited. To register, please phone the library at: (709)737-3950.
