Great Openers Workshop

This 1.5 hour workshop is all about openers: first sentences, first paragraphs, first chapters, and prologues. By examining a variety of opening passages (fiction and non-fiction), we’ll learn what gets a piece of prose off to a strong start. We’ll also talk about red herrings, prologues, and how to find true beginnings in your work.

This hybrid workshop will be held online and in person at The AC Hunter Public Library, 125 Allandale Road, St. John’s, NL.

The event is free and open to writers at all levels. Space is limited. Register online.
